KOSEF Ph.D. fellowship program

The Korea Science and Engineering Foundation(KOSEF) was established by law in May, 1977 for the purpose of playing a leading role in enhancing the nation's scientific and technological development through the cultivation of research, the promotion of science education and international cooperation with other countries.

In particular, KOSEF has emphasized international cooperation with other countries to accelerate the internationalization of Science & Technology. We feel confident that in the future the common prosperity of the world will be entirely dependent on Science & Technology cooperation.

In recognition of this prospect, KOSEF initiated the Post-doctoral Fellowships Program for Foreign Researchers in 1994. Its aim is based upon expanding Korea's scientific cooperation in response to increasingly diversified requests from home and abroad, particularly in the area of human resources.
